  US Government Intelligence Agencies

bulletNRO - National Reconnaissance Office  The NRO designs, builds and operates the nation's reconnaissance satellites.
bullet USSS - US Secret Service  The Secret Service is charged with protecting the President and Vice President of the United States and their immediate families as well as current and prior President-elect and Vice President-elect and their immediate families; visiting heads of foreign states or foreign governments and their spouses traveling with them; and, at the direction of the President, official representatives of the United States performing special missions abroad. ATF enforces the federal laws and regulations relating to alcohol, tobacco, firearms, explosives and arson.

US Government Defense Agencies

bulletACC - Air Combat Command The U.S. Air Force's Air Combat Command, with headquarters at Langley AFB, Va., is the primary provider of air combat forces to America's Unified Combatant Commands. ACC operates fighter, bomber, reconnaissance, battle-management, rescue and theater airlift aircraft, as well as command, control, communications and intelligence systems.

bulletDOD - U.S. Department of Defense We train and equip the armed forces through our three military departments -- the Army, Navy and Air Force. The Marine Corps, being mainly an amphibious force, is part of the Department of the Navy. bullet NORAD - North American Aerospace Defense Command NORAD is a bi-national United States and Canadian organization charged with the missions of aerospace warning and aerospace control for North America. Aerospace warning includes the monitoring of man-made objects in space, and the detection, validation, and warning of attack against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles, utilizing mutual support arrangements with other commands. Aerospace control includes providing surveillance and control of Canadian and United States airspace.
